ORLANDO, Florida (March 4, 2013) – Veteran, “A Warriors Sanctuary” is pleased to announce that the not-for-profit organization that assists veterans was recently given the use of 6 horses by a fellow veteran who boards them in Ellington, Florida (about 30 minutes from Tampa) to use for free trail rides for all active-duty and honorably discharged veterans who request this fun and therapeutic activity.

“Any active or honorably discharged veteran is eligible to use these horses.” said founder Christi Hubbard.  “They can’t just show up, so we haven’t listed the address. All they have to do is contact us.  We are also kindly requesting donations from the public and patriotic companies so that we may expand this and other free veterans programs we offer. When you invest in our work to give veterans a better future, you become a big part in making our community stronger and healthier.”

Any active veteran with an ID or honorably discharged veteran with a DD214 may contact Christi Hubbard at to arrange for their free trail ride. Eligible veterans will need to sign a one-time liability waiver on their first visit.  Available ride times are Monday-Friday after 4 p.m.ET or on weekends with a week’s notice provided.
